Feature Rich Design Offers Incredible Value

Position sensors, communication electronics and power outputs for solenoids are integrated into an extremely compact, rugged VCT.

Red/Green visual indicator boldly displays valve status, and coordinates with Red/Green LEDs for safe operation.

Eclipse sensors and electronics are fully sealed with epoxy to eliminate hazard threat and corrosion problems.

Direct attachment to ISO/Namur mounting pads used on most popular actuators.

High intensity red and green LEDs indicate electronic switch status to confirm electrical operation.

Sensor triggers are adjustable in 3.5 degree increments through 360 degrees for precision and flexibility.

All mechanical parts are made of Lexan or stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability.

No moving mating parts assure long life and trouble-free operation.



The Standard Model Covers Most Plant Areas:

Explosion-proof, water tight and corrosion-proof enclosure is FM and CSA approved for use in NEMA 4, 4x, 6 (temporary submersibility), 7 and 9 areas. The Quartz is CENELEC certified EEx d IIC T6 for zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas and is rated to IP 67. Enclosure is made of marine grade aluminum, which is hard anodized and urethane coated.




Lexan Sensing Head Triggers on Any Metal. Inductive sensing technology detects metal targets at distances of 4mm.

Stainless Steel Body is Rugged and Corrosion Proof. Hawkeye sensors are machined from a solid block of 316 stainless steel.

Stainless Steel Lock Washers and Fasteners Secure Hawkeye Permanently to Mount. Adaptor brackets are available in L or straight.

Circuit is Coated in Silicon and Potted in Epoxy. Hawkeye sensor may be fully submersed and is shock and vibration tolerant.

High Intensity LED Brightly Displays Switch Status. Red and green LEDs may be selected to indicate open or closed status.

1/2" Conduit Entry or Mini-Connector Available Choose from a direct conduit entry for hazardous areas or a plug-in miniconnector for rapid attachment in general purpose environments



Components Sealed Inside Enclosure:

Vapor tight seal is achieved by hand tightening the screw-on cover.

NEMA 4, 4x, 6 & IP 67 rated to withstand severe washdown and temporary submersion environments.

Shaft is lubricated and o-ring sealed top and bottom.

Onyx design is streamlined to shed water and corrosive liquids.
